Beginning on July 1, 2008, Yahoo!’s annual domain renewal price increases to $34.95 per year

Yahoo is getting mad by increasing its price and may be they want to quit from this business. Normally these strategies are used to discourage customers.like now every one is talking to shift form yahoo.com to other domain registrars like godaddy.com
no even very stupid businessman can do this… there is something strange about this story that until now in 2009 i couldn't figure out.

since July 2008 and i am moving my domains from Yahoo to godaddy.com just before the domain expires and this saves me a lot, i don't see any reason for continuing with Yahoo and i see this increase as a complete rip off

one thing i am sure about is that Yahoo is now losing customers

The internet community should be up in arms about this gross abuse of the system. It is not hard to understand why Yahoo is getting one of the worst reputations on the internet for abusive behavior towards its customers.
